The Junior League of Los Angeles is seeking annual sponsors - corporations, organizations, and individuals - with whom partnerships in the community can be developed.
Your contributions directly affect the greater Los Angeles community through the training, programming, and advocacy conducted by Junior League of Los Angeles. The Junior League of Los Angeles provides educational and mentoring programs and opportunities to promote self-sufficiency, recognition, leadership, and conflict resolution. Health related programs delivered by the Junior League of Los Angeles promote healthy living skills, wellness, and violence-free relationships.
Your Dollars at Work
Every heart and every penny counts! Your contributions, no matter the size, help fulfill our mission!
- Just $50 allows the Junior League of Los Angeles the ability to print and distribute in multiple languages domestic violence brochures and other advocacy material to Los Angeles populations in need
- For $100, you can sponsor the enrollment for one participant in the Junior League of Los Angeles' life skills workshops with Turning Point. This project trains newly employed and formerly homeless men and women to help them develop everyday skills needed to transition to self-sufficiency and permanent housing.
- For $250, the JLLA Downtown Woman's Center "Whole Woman" program offers homeless and formerly homeless woman a half day workshop that is inviting, timely, and informative. The workshop offers a safe environment in which woman can celebrate their femininity, share their feelings, share their coping mechanisms, develop friendships, and learn about themselves.
- For $500, the Junior League of Los Angeles can put on a one-day event (Done in a Day event) which makes a significant contribution to our community in a one-day timeframe. Past events include a hosting a Halloween Party for the children of the Violence Intervention Program and LAS/USC, holding a cooking and nutrition class for an after school program at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice and many other events which are fun and educational that our community partners could not have done without our help.
- For $1,000, the Junior League of Los Angeles can provide a new book to every participant of our “Stories Abroad” program with Children’s Institute, Inc. Most of the children who participate in our program do not own their own books and do not read outside of school. Our program helps these children develop a respect and appreciation for reading.
- For $2,500, we can implement and fully fund our mentoring program with Aviva Family and Children Services. Our program consists of one-on-one structured mentoring with at-risk girls living in a residential treatment program. These girls have no outside support or family. This program encourages teen girls to plan for their futures by inspiring educational and career goals, building confidence and learning basic life skills such as personal finance, health and communication.
- For $5,000, the Junior League of Los Angeles funds its Board Fellows Program for one year. This program prepares volunteers to become active, productive and effective members of nonprofit boards of directors in the Los Angeles community.
