Little Black Dress Initiative

November 1-4, 2017

JLLA is proud to be participating in the Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) November 1-4! Originally created by the Junior League of London, LBDI has since spread to many Leagues around the world.

What is the Little Black Dress Initiative? For four consecutive days, members will wear the same little black dress with an “Ask Me About My Dress” pin in order to raise awareness about the issues facing foster youth and funds for JLLA's projects and programs that support them through JustGiving.

When is LBDI? JLLA members will be participating in LBDI from November 1-4, 2017. This Initiative will culminate at our Civic Leadership Forum on November 4th in Downtown Los Angeles, where we hope all participants will wear their Little Black Dresses.

Who will this support? The funds raised through LBDI will directly support Junior League of Los Angeles’ projects and programs that impact the lives of foster youth in Los Angeles.
