Rachel Abbott joined the Junior League of Los Angeles in 2010. Her leadership experience in the League includes chairing the Provisional Training Team, Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) project, and Training and Education Committee. Most recently, she served on JLLA’s Management Council as the Training Vice President. She completed JLLA’s award-winning Leadership Development Program and Board Fellows. Rachel also spent a transfer year with the Junior League of Dallas, participating in their PR&D program.
Rachel works in Development for the Milken Institute, a non-profit, non-partisan think tank. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The University of Oklahoma.
Rachel lives in Santa Monica with her fiancé, Sonny, and their two dogs. She loves to travel, cook, read, watch Jeopardy, spend time with family and friends and cheer on the Oklahoma Sooners football team.
