Desirée Finigan has been a member of the Junior League of Los Angeles since 2012. She has been active in leadership since the beginning, serving as Assistant to the Development Vice President, Harvest Boutique Chair and Provisional / New Member Advisor. Her most recent leadership position was as Development Vice President, which included the first LA Big 5K committee and the incubation of two new fundraisers: The Little Black Dress Initiative and Touch-A-Truck™.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area (Go Giants!), Desirée moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University (LMU). After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Television Production, she went to work on various television series including “The King of Queens” and “Criminal Minds.” However, her experiences and successes within JLLA inspired a new career and she returned to her alma mater as the Assistant Director of Development for the Alliance of Women Philanthropists at LMU.
