In its inaugural year as the Junior League of Los Angeles’ (JLLA) primary spring fundraiser, the League’s April 14 Touch-A-Truck event not only went off without a hitch, but was a huge success.

More than 16 civic and commercial vehicles and dozens of volunteers helped create a day of community engagement, education and entertainment alongside the Santa Monica Pier. Children of all ages were invited to climb the trucks, sit in the driver’s seats, honk the horns, sound the sirens and chat with the first responders and truck operators proudly representing their vehicles.  Read more about JLLA’s newest fundraiser here.
