A prospective member is encouraged to attend a New Member Orientation to obtain a membership application and course outline.

1.   Prospective Member must complete the application form and return it to JLLA Headquarters (Rainey House) by August 13, 2023.

2.  Pay 2023-2024 New Member dues of $298 by August 13, 2023.

$143 Junior League of Los Angeles, Inc. (JLLA)
$43 Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI)
$25 Rainey House Operations Fund Assessment
$87 New Member Course Fee

3.   Complete the New Member Program, which consists of a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about JLLA’s League structure and programs, including the following:

• New Member Kick-off Retreat (Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Skirball Center)
• New Member Project Kickoff (Saturday, November 18, 2023)
• Six (6) of Seven (7) New Member Small Group Meetings
• Three (3) of six (6) General Meetings
  • One (1) of the meetings must be the Annual Meeting/New Member Graduation in May
• New Member Project, Details TBD (Spring 2024)
• Six (6) Community Service hours
  • Three (3) hours are received for completion of the New Member Project

• Six (6) Development Service hours
• Two (2) Training credits

• • One (1) Training credit received for attendance at the New Member Kick-off Retreat

All New Members must complete the Program during their New Member year to graduate to Active Membership in the following League year.

4.   Purchase or sell tickets worth $125 to various JLLA fundraisers.

5.   Dues for 2024-2025 Active Members are $266. The deadline for dues is March 1, 2024.
