#TBT to when the Junior League of Los Angeles partnered with 9Dots on 10/15 to put on a Fall Science Extravaganza. Students boarded the Magic School Bus with JLLA volunteers to Get Planted and explore the biology of the Fall season. Students read the “Pumpkin Jack” and “From Seed to Pumpkin” and participated in 3 fall/science themed activity stations.

This is just one of our many Done in a Day’s (DIAD) throughout the year. Our DIAD Committee enables our League volunteers to assist nonprofit community agencies with projects that can be completed within a three to six hour period. These events address specific needs of the community within the mission of the Junior League of Los Angeles.
