Los Angeles, CA – Junior League of Los Angeles (JLLA) invites families with children of all ages and adults alike to climb aboard a variety of vehicles at the 5th Annual Touch-A-Truck event on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

“Touch-A-Truck is more than an event; it’s a sparkling day of wonder for our children, and a crucial opportunity to support JLLA’s programs of empowerment of Los Angeles’ transition-aged foster youth,” said Katherine La Spada, President of Junior League of Los Angeles. “We invite families to join us for a fun-filled day, where imagination meets reality through hands-on experience with vehicles of all sizes. Your participation fuels the incredible work JLLA does in building a brighter future for our community.”

Touch-A-Truck™ is a family-friendly event designed to allow children to explore, climb, and touch vehicles of all shapes and sizes. There will be fun for everyone in the family – meet the people who build, protect, and serve Los Angeles County or get creative at the arts and crafts table. 

Among the vehicles on display will be a Los Angeles County Fire Department Lifeguards patrol truck, a Waste Management garbage truck, a trackless train from Roaming Railroad, a fire truck from Fire Station 88, a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car, a Jurassic Park Jeep, an Xos electric truck, a Star Track Tour bus, and a mini digger.

Touch-A-Truck™ event attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy craft activities, kids’ games, and music. Food trucks will also be on-site offering breakfast,  lunch and snacks for purchase.

Event sponsors include BeatBuds, Cruden Bay Investment Management, Playhaus LA, OrangeTheory Fitness, Raising Cane’s, Skechers and more.

Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (no horn honking hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for children sensitive to sounds) 

Location: Westfield Fashion Square, 14006 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423, in the parking lot off of Woodman Avenue.

Cost: $15/General Admission, $30/VIP Admission, $50/Family Van (4 tickets), or $100/Stretch Limo (4 VIP tickets)
